Interesting opportunity to join this global marketing and technology solutions business.  They build the technology that underpins mass communication, they also build other products and services and consult at the enterprise strategic level on market insights around data and CRM.
 
The Global Account Director performs a wide range of duties and initially will take over the management of a major FMCG global client.  Once established in the business, you'll then work on other major clients in finance and other categories.
 
The role is to grow and nurture the portfolio of accounts into sustainable and profitable clients and to manage relationships globally, working closely in particular with the global PM, Tech and Operational teams out of HK and Singapore.  There's lots of stakeholder management with this role so you need to enjoy and indeed thrive on getting the best out of people and getting things done.
 
The role is a bit of a hybrid one as it's a mix of Agency Client Services and also Project Management skills.  Some of the things we're looking for:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience, with at least 3+ years in a digital agency/consulting firm.
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management.
  • Advanced understanding of the digital production process, including project management and technical solution requirements.
  • Track record of delivering complex projects/campaigns to top tier clients.
  • Advanced communication skills including developing and leading presentations and developing strategic recommendations and effective proposals.               
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms.
 
There is some monthly travel nationally and occasional overseas trips.

So you could either be in Agency land, in a Consulting firm or from a Tech provider as long as you have great client management skills, can influence multiple stakeholders and have a good knowledge of Data and CRM.   If you have that, then would love to hear from you ...
