May 2014 Bob More Roles (0) As a Digital Producer you will work in a collaborative news room environment tasked with creating local news content as part of a national news team. As an experienced journalist with a digital bent, you will appreciate this organisations focus on quality content, an unbiased editorial line and their view to the future and uptake of digital technology as the key mechanism for news delivery. In addition to writing, you'll also be sub-editing the site and making calls on story priority and homepage layout. Key Requirements: Qualifications in Journalism or Communications Several years experience as a Journalist with a focus on text based story writing - a quality portfolio to prove it. Focus on quality news - ability to understand the audience and deliver a mix of relevant local news. Social Media native - well developed ability to use social channels for researching and broadcasting stories. Digital Production skills - Content Management Systems, Video Editing, Audio editing, Basic Photo Editing(Photoshop), Online Story Layouts. Ability and proven experience as a sub-editor Team player, recognising that you are part of a bigger team and being able to respect the organisation and its hierarchy. If you're not in Adelaide now, it'd be worth considering relocation to take up this 18 month contract (with potential of extension). Appropriate remuneration is negotiable based upon your relevant experience and packages include generous superannuation and additional loading.
