You will also play a key role in projects to develop the site look and feel, usability and user interaction and optimise the technical architecture across devices.
The role operates within a fast paced multi-channel business and will work closely with the Site Performance Analyst to conduct analysis of the performance of different products, slots, promotions and banners on the site based on revenue generation, conversion rates, margin & traffic.  Based on this analysis and the current business and marketing plans, continually optimise product placement and identify, implement and review opportunities to enhance cross sell and up sell.

You need to understand customer journeys, use web metrics to understand what’s popular and ensure the site is merchandised appropriately and that new content and architectural developments support the customer journey and the core navigation (mega nav and facets).

What’s essential…
  • Excellent comprehension of web metrics
  • Experience in analysing onsite performance including traffic flow, checkout funnel and conversion rates
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, iJento (previously called Site Intelligence) & Fred Hopper
  • Strong planning skills
  • An understanding of SEO techniques
  • Experience owning, driving and delivering significant projects to redesign and optimise sites across devices
  • Proven ability to produce commercial recommendations as a result of analysis and reporting
  • Excellent numerical & analysis skills and superior problem solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for understanding customers’ needs and behaviours
