Executive National Digital Marketing & Online Sales Manager – B2C Financial

We’re looking for someone who is strategic and entrepreneurial who has that start-up mentality but also importantly, understands the complexities of working in a corporate.  You need a good depth of digital knowledge coupled with great management skills and a wonderful ability to excite and lead stakeholders along this new digital journey. Not for the faint-hearted as the new boss is exceptionally smart, full of energy with high expectations and we think terrific!  
Sydney based, with a Financial Group the Digital National Manager will be responsible for charting the digital growth agenda and long term online direct to consumer strategy.  As the area will grow over time, your mandate will be to further build the digital capability across the organisation.  You will have 3 to 4 direct reports responsible for Experience [user experience, content and design], Enablement [web and mobile development across many sites] and Engagement [online sales & marketing, demand generation and conversion - search paid and organic, social media, email etc.]
We’re looking for a senior digital marketing professional that has experience in delivering online sales who has excellent relationship management skills and with at least 10 years plus of deep digital experience.   We would expect you to have previous P&L responsibility and lead marketing, strategy and channel/sales.  You would have worked in a business where the marketing focus is on online and you’ve either built the digital capability in large organisations or driven the digital strategy from the ground up in a start-up type environment.  As the key to success is the customer experience, front end customer focused marketing is paramount coupled with a deep understanding of the back-end technology.
