Digital Brand Solutions Director – Lifestyle

Responsible for a team of 38 with direct reports across brand & product, creative services, research & insights and trade, you’ll have full P&L responsibility reporting into the Commercial Director.  It’s a challenging role that will change the way they currently operate but a fantastic opportunity that they’re investing heavily in to and one that will make a real impact to the business. 
An interesting role as the consumer already has an emotional attachment to the brands; fashion, health, food, home, parenting, weekends – and now it’s taking that  consumer sentiment and creating a whole different multi-platform engagement with their customers. 

We’re looking for… 
  • A Digital Marketer with a real depth and breadth of knowledge in advertising solutions
  • Probably 10 years + in digital
  • Strategic thinker
  • With B2C experience    
  • High level business acumen, responsible for driving business results and sales outcomes
  • P&L / budget experience
  • Excellent relationship management and leadership skills
  • Great stakeholder manager and an influencer of change

Overview…
Develop and implement advertising solutions in line with strategic business objectives with clearly defined sales milestones and targets.
Drive sales initiatives for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, increasing profit and market share.
Build relationships with publishers, editorial, marketing, research to ensure commercial opportunities are identified.
Ensure advertising initiatives are designed to maximise multiple platform and vertical sales opportunities.
Promote and develop a cohesive relationship with the sales team ensuring regular communication between teams to review progress and performance. 
Develop category strategies, business plans and initiatives that best service the needs, interests and opportunities of customers.
Direct productivity and sales activities by ensuring innovative integrated initiatives are developed for the sales team to take to market.
Oversee product training across the business.
Create a culture which is customer focused, multi-platform focused, innovated and achievement oriented.
Recruit, and mentor employees to meet business planning requirements.

Great role with a mix of strategy, marketing and creativity coupled with strong commercials.  It’s not a sales job but you do need a high level of business acumen as the development and implementation of the integrated marketing solutions ultimately drive revenues.
You may be a Digital Specialist in a media business or work as a Strategist in a Digital Agency – what you do need to have is the experience and capability to design new product and online marketing strategies with the ability to inspire, educate and influence the many levels of stakeholders.
