Account Strategist, Digital Agency, Gold Coast

Wonderful opportunity to work on the Gold Coast with an award winning agency that offers a full service across strategy, design, development, media and hosting. They’re also a really innovative business as they build separate product offerings – so they’re not your normal agency!
This agency has been around for 10 years so certainly knows their market intimately. During that time they have managed major digital strategies & campaigns, websites, SEO, domain strategies, intranets and extranets, e-commerce, content management systems, along with email and affiliate marketing programs for some of Australia's most trusted and recognised brands.

We see this person as being a member of the management team and as such will sit at the “management table” reporting directly to the Strategy Director, who is one of the founders of the business. 

You’ll have a small team to manage and motivate and you’ll work closely with the management team to take the business to its next phase of growth.

We’re on the search for a dynamic individual, someone with a broad range of digital skills encompassing brand, social, possibly mobile and other integrated or multi-channel campaign executions. 

So in short.... we want someone with digital advertising/marketing nous, with an understanding of development. 

THE JOB:
  • Work closely with the MD and the Strategy Director to identify new opportunities
  • Work on new pitches and client strategy development
  • Analyse and plan growth strategies for new and existing clients
  • Ability to sell-in a whole array of digital ideas and channels across marketing and technical
  • Profitable management of client accounts
  • Sales and revenue reporting, working to monthly and quarterly targets
  • Mentoring and supervision of Account Managers 
  • Contribute to the growth direction of the agency
  • Some travel Intra and Interstate
  • Work closely with all internal teams and in particular with the technical guys

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years digital agency experience
  • Demonstrable successes in client management and account growth
  • Team management and development experience
  • Both brand and tactical digital marketing experience
  • Successful experience in pitching, writing strategy and proposals
  • Exceptional account planning
  • Strong digital network
  • Analytical mind being able to draw knowledge from campaign performance, industry / internet usage trends and create opportunity
  • A strong innovator, with exposure or experience in social, media, mobile & creative solutions
  • Strong business aptitude
