The Role
The company has a foothold in the Australian market but is looking to rapidly grow its sales
presence in the region. They are looking for a Senior Sales Executive based in Sydney -- a dynamic and results-oriented individual responsible for identifying, selling, and closing new business in the Australia. While the main objective is to drive revenue through sales, the role could also grow to assume leadership responsibilities for the Australia based sales team.

Requirements
Candidates MUST be able to satisfy the following criteria.
- A superb existing network at decision-maker levels with leading advertising and media agencies as well with major brand advertisers;
- A proven sales track record of reaching and exceeding quota. This will be reflected in a successful media sales record of at least 12 years including 7 years in the online sector;
- Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, presenting, negotiating and closing sales;
- The ability to sell based on value not price and a knack for consultative selling;
- A comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape, as well as a solid grasp of technology and the Web;
- Strong understanding of digital media industry trends, technologies and pricing models;
- Detailed working of knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis;
- Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and how they operate and campaign buying and planning;
- Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization;
- Culturally, you understand and embrace the entrepreneurial environments and appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the building of a premier online media company;
- Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
