Online Client Manager, Market Leading Digital Business, Melbourne

Fantastic privately owned online business in expansion stage are looking for a Business Development Manager to be responsible for the ongoing management and growth of a number of product lines. With support from the MD and director, this role is integral to the growth of the business and offers a great opportunity to combine your in depth knowledge of digital media and client management.
Working from lovely offices in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, this company has a relaxed culture and prides themselves on offering a good work-life balance.

Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Account Management – develop and maintain lasting successful client relationships
  • Business Development – acquiring new clients and up-selling to existing clients in line with strategic plans
  • Advertising Sales – work with media agencies and clients to grow display advertising model

Some of the needed attributes:
  • Passionate about technology and online products
  • Strategic thinker – research trends and develop strategic plans accordingly
  • Excellent negotiation and management skills – understand how to negotiate and sell to both agencies and clients whilst maintaining successful relationships

This role would suit someone currently working in digital media and looking to gain more autonomy in a smaller business environment. Experience of working in a commercial environment with revenue responsibility will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will also be required to travel to Sydney 1-2 times per month so must be flexible to do this.
